Bristol Photography

Written by  Tony Razuri

Respected photographer Aaron Bristol credits daughter Kayla and a 3 megapixel Sony digital camera as his first foray into photography. Hailing from a boy band - law clerk - pizzeria manager background, Bristol had no idea that the experience he garnered from incessantly photographing his Shirley Temple look- alike daughter would open doors into the industry of professional video and photography.

“I had no portfolio, and no formal training. Established photography companies only wanted to hire me as an assistant. No one wanted to give me a chance,” recalls Bristol.

But, chutzpah and quick-wit has afforded Bristol the opportunity to open his own studio, work alongside well established photographers, and book gigs with Power 96, Ed Hardy and Bloomingdales.
