(Fort Lauderdale, FL) June 4th, 2009 - Underlab Studios’ emerging artist movement of South Florida, Auteur Explosion VII is at it again on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 9:00pm ‘till 2:00am at Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6 Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Talent ranges from the gamut of art's genres including (all local): Live Bands, Mixed-Media artists, filmmakers, Live Performances such as: Shadow-casts, belly-dancers, Burlesque, Vaudeville, stand-up comedy, designers, power jewelry, and more.
“The monthly event is growing in popularity. Not only does Auteur Explosion create an outlet for the local artists but the community is really enjoying the experience of viewing their art, film and listening to the local bands. We’re proud to be part of this movement,” commented Hal Axler, Executive Director of Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and Cinema Paradiso, who agreed to donate the theatre in hopes to see area artists flourish. General admission is only $5 to attend. Cinema Paradiso, is conveniently located in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It’s hip, trendy yet offers an old world charm suiting to the senses of the art community. The charming 200 + seat theatre, with outside patio also has the capacity to contain the constant influx of new and local talent at the monthly Auteur Explosion. Plus it offers concessions, a full bar, and the best popcorn in town!

The Seeds of Evolution are four well-schooled musicians who met through a genuine love of music in the melting pot of culture that is South Florida. Like a morning sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean, the S.O.E. have quickly elevated themselves to the pinnacle of the Florida music scene. Armed with two full length albums of signature original sounds, they are poised to spread their hydroponic groove to all corners of the world. Best known for their crowd-pleasing live performances, The Seeds of Evolution have rocked the house in nearly every major city in their home state and are currently slated to embark on their first extended East Coast tour in the Summer of 2009. With a unique style and talent unseen in the music world today, the S.O.E. welcome you to join them on their quest for musical immortality.

Timb has been creating some of the damn finest DIY independent music since 2001. He has written, recorded, and distributed 10 full-length CDs and 5 side-project CDs, 3 with Los Torsos and 2 with iii GUYZ fr. SEATTLE. The Craven, a side project of the ever-prolific (and one-time Broward-Palm Beach New Times cover star), Timb Krueller. While Timb's solo stuff flits around genres, it's mostly guitar-based. With the Craven, he and friend Danny Ae get their synth-pop ya-yas out, mining the icy silver tones of Gary Numan, the Human League, and company.Timb is intelligent, eclectic, bizarre, offensive, and hilarious. But always catchy. Timb's genre-hopping music has drawn comparisons to Beck, WEEN, TMBG, Prince, and David Bowie.
New Times Broward-Palm Beach voted Timb "Best Solo Musician" in 2004.
