What is FLOfest? The 1st ever entertainment festival for Florida musicians, spoken word artist, dancers, fashion designers, indie film makers, grafitti artist, car show enthusiest and vendors. Promoted on all major TV networks.

FLO-sponsorship: As with any major festival, sponsorship is key to the overall success of an event of this size. FLOfest welcomes any and all interested parties who see the possibilities of this event far beyond the seminole year. FLofest Outline

FLO-music: The 1st ever music festival for Florida musicians. Promoted on all major TV networks.

FLO-slam: A series of poetry slams held throughout the event week with cash prizes. Slam categories TBA.

FLO-youth: A youth day celebration featuring music, poetry, dance performances from the under-age perspective.

FLO-fashion: 3 lucky designers get their chance to shine & present their line to the public! Similar to BET'S Rip The Runway or MTV'S Fashionably Loud.

FLO-art: Local artist, sculptors, painters, etc. showcase and sell their work. Grafitti artist are also welcome!

FLO-film: Short films and features by some of Florida's best and brightest film houses.

FLO-dance: The art of dance in the sunshine state. Florida's best dance crew competition:$1,000 Grand Prize!

FLO-dj: Ever wanted to be a DJ? Learn how from some of Florida's finest on the 1's & 2's: Taught by world class dj's.

FLO-autoshow: An underground car show showcasing the best high octane street machines in the state. Cash prizes. Various categories TBA.

FLO-food & wine: Local cultural restaurants & wine distributers tasting event.

FLO & hustle: A seminar for those TRULY on the grind. Learn the art of networking from those who do it best on the sunshine state.

FLO-future: Panel discussion on the future of Florida's underground scene and where the indie arts community is headed.

FLO-blow-up: A FREELY distributed Florida artist compilation CD & mix tape celebrating Florida artist. FREE distribution to over 1,000 people plus industry insiders with direct links to artist website/i-TUNES/music page.

FLOfest is happening in conjunction with the 2009 National Poetry Slam Competition, a successfull, 20-year event which will bring over 1 million dollars in consumer revenue to downtown West Palm beach in August.

Answer: We are looking for sponsors, investors, promoters, volunteers, musical acts, grant writers, graphic design personel, email blasters, street teams, etc.
