Self: Direction 7

For those of you who know or actually give a fuck, we have been working diligently on a film called Self: Direction 7. People have been asking what is this film about? My writing vastly exceeds my ability to articulate in words what the meaning, if any, this film possesses. (me write better than i talk - for the lamen)

So here it is the synopsis:

A live comic book story of 2 scientists who have been shunned away from society forced to innovate ideas in a broken down winabego, turned into a lab, an Underlab to be more precise (catching on the metaphors now, are we?).

Unbeknown to the world, a cosmic force, comes and manipulates the dreams of the scientists, Dr. Oknot (Peter Riera AKA Page Rappaport,7th Direction) and assistant Pernell (Paul Raimondo AKA The Real PR, 7th Direction), a deviant psychic,The Legend Garden (Krystal AKA Urban Rose, 7th Direction), and a rap group known as 7D who are Life Wolfskin (Derek Forsyth AKA Chop D-Vise, 7th Direction), Goliath (Pat AKA Colossus, 7thDirection) Eon (Robin Smith AKA CornPOPS, Remedy), and their manager Moment (Dwayne Adams). Playing with their dreams, tempting the universe to its own turmoil, this cosmic entity takes on a form of a spider known as IKTOMI.

The scientists invent a microphone able to control the minds of those who listen to he/she that wields it. But talking to the microphone isn't enough. The microphone works best if the wielder was a master of rhyme. So a member of 7D, Goliath is kidnapped. And the scientist run rapid. The Legend Garden goes after the Microphone, and the 7D go on a vision quest to find a mystical Indian who will lead them to where their friend, Goliath.

That is all I will say about this movie, that is the plot, like it or not.

We will be done shooting in late February and hopefully editing and animation will be done by June, in time for the film festival circuit.
